IMAGES is an English speaking photography club based in The Hague.
The club was founded in 1984 and welcomes members of all ages, skill levels, and camera types.
We come from many different countries, including the Netherlands, and have many different areas of
photographic interest. The one thing we have in common is our passion for photography.
To support and encourage this passion we monthly meetings where we:
- show and discuss each other’s work
- invite sometimes a guest speaker
- have constructive critique sessions
- show the results of photo challenges
- do hands-on activities & workshops
- show the results of the
monthly photo competition (POTY)
We also organise excursions, fieldtrips and visits to exhibitions, and have social events to encourage
the club feeling.
We do not give trainings and workshops, but by exchanging ideas, critiquing photographs and asking
and answering questions, we aim to motivate and learn from each other.
Where and When ?
Images club nights are held on the third Wednesday of every month (excluding July and August); we
are meeting at the Studio room in Concordia, Hoge Zand 42, The Hague. ![]()
